It is not centralized: getting to the info is not so easy: it is virtually on thousends of computers.

I doubt... There would be copies on some other random computers too, for safety reasons.

| Yes, Führer just means leader. It's also closely related to Fahrer (driver). | |

| Speaking at face value cuz too tired to read: I'm conflicted. On the one hand they're probably gonna be more impartial and objective if used right. On the other, the risk of tampering is pretty big I reckon. Not sure how I feel about it, seems like a high-risk gamble to me; could pay off but is also likely to run across some hefty problems before it gets good and people's lives are at risk in the meantime, criminals or not. On the flip side, I can also argue that keeping people on the spots isn't necessairly the ideal solution either by vice of biases, emotions and things like that which have more than once in human history led to what I primarily worry about with the AI. Hmmm... | |

| The AI isn't going to stand in court. It's going to look through legal documents to find information that the human lawyers need in court. | |

| Maybe a dumb question, but do they double-check the info that the AI doesn't mess up somewhere? If so then I have no real problem anymore. | |

| If it messes up it just delivers useless information and the lawyer should be able to spot that.
Anyway, the point is that the work used to be done by lots of level 1 lawyers, but they won't be needed anymore. So AI is now already taking work from lawyers. Makes one wonder whose jobs are safe then.
Well, apart from politicians. You can bet they will protect their jobs.

| Anyone can outsmart a politician
But politicians will never allow AI to do their jobs And if an AI decides to do so anyway, it's the equivalent of declaring secession

| Politicians will never vote for a change of the system that gives their job to an AI. What might happen is that they have an AI telling what would be the best thing to do, but they'll keep their jobs. the only way to get them out of a job is if the AI performs a coup d'etat. | |

| Both. But the fear is more justified.

| Yeah always fear, feeeaaarrr, FEEEAAARRRRR. Fuck fear. Maybe the AI will replace politicians and it'll be a good thing. Maybe we'll fuse with the machine and it'll be a good thing. Maybe the bugs thawing in Siberia or wherever will lead to a scientifical breakthrough of a sort. I wish more people understood. | |
