I was skeptical, but there's an article about it on wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dendrocnide_moroides
"Contact with the leaves or twigs causes the hollow, silica-tipped hairs to penetrate the skin. The hairs cause an extremely painful stinging sensation that can last anywhere from days to years, and the injured area becomes covered with small, red spots joining together to form a red, swollen welt."

You are both so pessimistic! Let's say it could be turned into medicine for a change!

I'm fairly sure the Asutralian plant has already been weaponized. You can grab it and hit people. But you'd better wear gloves. Thick leather ones.

Even rodents clean their cellular mess better than us... But yeah, DNA repair and protein folding efficiency are the keys to longevity. I haven't seen any study on those in exceptionally old humans, but it may exist. But those rats are like Cainites: every time they wake up their bodies are (almost) restored, save for cases of massive trauma.

The famous Czech explorer, inventor and jack-of-all-trades Jára Cimrman discovered America at least one hundred years earlier, when he swam across the Pacific ocean looking for a short cut home from his Asian travels, as is proven by the presence of numerous Czech communities across the continent.

The Czezch communities drink all the beer that they produce. The American beer you know is made by others.
