| Yes. It's really too loud when talking to Ash. Ihave tried something already for 1.4. It did work in a way, but not as supposed. So I have to try something else. If it doesn't work, I'll turn down the general volume a bit. - | |

| There are subtitles when you choose what you're saying though...
Then again I always play with subtitles because of my hearing.

| This can be easily fixed, if nothing else you can just increase the volume of the Ash dialogue files, -OR- we could turn the music down in the club. Which would you prefer? | |

| If problems turn up, I certainly look into them. Especially when I'm preparing a new version. That's what beta testing time is for. - | |

| Henryk Gorecki - Symphony No. 3 Samuel Barber - Agnus Dei (The 10:56 choral version as conducted by Robert Shaw) White Zombie - Astro-Creep: 2000 (To hell with the lyrics, the melodies of the entire album make my blood boil. It has a damn' good beat that is not so self-aggrandizing that I discount as trying too hard to be bad-ass.) | |

Zer0morph's mod is going to be distributed free of charge, so it's okay to use the copyrighted music.

| I'm sure I'm violating some sort of law on some level in a land far away. But like vampires, I've never really been much for abiding by silly laws that would keep my expansion pack I worked 6 months on locked in a closet forever... you know, because of a copyright, HAHA! If distributing TFN is breaking the law because I used some copyrighted music... then I guess I'll be breaking the law. | |

If distributing TFN is breaking the law because I used some copyrighted music... then I guess I'll be breaking the law. The following is my understanding of U.S. copyright law, not what I agree with philosophically: One of the rights included in the copyright "bundle" is the right of distribution. Barring permission from the rights holder, "I found it on the Internet" or "I'm not doing this for profit" are not defenses. There's a reason the FBI disclaimer at the head of U.S. DVDs reads "Copyright infringement, including infringement without monetary gain ..."

And all for the sake of protecting intellectual property. Now, I'm really glad I don't have an eidetic memory like Mozart, lest they persue legal action against my mind for making such an exact copy of a piece of music; sound and memory being equally intangible. We, the United States of America, are getting carried away with litigation. That's for damn' sure.

The idea of making copyright infringement a crime is ludicrous to me, so I think we see eye-to-eye on that. And the idea that there can be infringement without monetary gain is equally ludicrous.

| If I might make a suggestion that future editions of the mods have a separate music pack that is optional.
As acknowledging the illegal nature of bundling copyrighted music without express permission also makes anyone downloading the mod liable as well.
