Engine Error

I just recently downloaded this new patch you made and all seemed to work fine but now the game won't run and all I get is a error message saying Unable to load manifest file 'scripts/game_sounds_manifest.txt. , I've tried googling but nothing comes up except for derailed threads.

Help would be much appreciated

Alright let's try to figure this out, because I've never gotten this error.

What OS are you using?
What video card are you using?
Are you using a desktop/laptop?
Was it previously working before you used the patch?

What was the exact install process you used starting with first installing the game.
Did you install the game from CDs or from a downloadable program?

Using Intel core duo 2 ghz
Nvidia GeForce 9500m GS
Vista 23bit
Acer Aspire 6920G
4gigs ram

Yeh it was working fine before, was using some unofficial 6.7 patch or something.

You will want to completely remove Bloodlines and any mods from your computer. Reinstall Bloodlines with a fresh clean copy, then install CE 1.1 over it making sure to point the install path to the proper folder.
