Le Grand Théâtre

Duncan's eyes narrow at the man's  usage of the term 'leech'.  Then they widen a bit as he realizes the man is alive, and the implications of that sink in.  This only lasts for a moment though, before Duncan straightens a bit and seems to relax slightly.  He still glares at the man in ill-concealed distrust.

Auspex=4:

William, you're the eloquent one.  Why don't you go tell the Prince that there's an... envoy here to see him.  We'll escort him upstairs, and be right behind you.

William was distracted a moment before the man came in as he stared at the wall, but before he could react, the man had already approached them. Remaining quiet, he looked interested once he realised what they were dealing with, but his face became an emotionless mask once he also realised which dangers that posed. Once Duncan motioned for him to warn the prince of their 'guest', William nodded.

As he made his way up the stairs, he mumbled to himself while taking out his phone and typing a message with one hand, and dragging Fred along with his other hand, ignoring any protests, "I'm going down history as the guy whom bring bad news whenever he walks up these stairs. Fred find a corner or something once upstairs, or an alternative exit. Lupins are bad news for us kindred."

ST:

The neonate stopped at the entrance, quickly looking for the prince, and if not present, his ghoul or sheriff while he let go of Fred's hand.

Fred is pulled along by William, who is soon to be known not only as the bearer of ill news, but also as the babysitter of that one spineless Malkavian.

He doesn't protest but doesn't seem very comfortable with leaving Duncan and Nyx in the middle of this mess.
Once dragged upstairs he is told to find a corner, and does exactly that with his usual "Very well" comment.
He then simply waits faithfully in his corner until William tells him to do something else.

When he hears William going up the stairs, Duncan speaks to the old man.
Shall we head upstairs?  Prince Gosuin's audience chamber is next to the deambulatoire.  

Duncan turns and glances at Nyx, nodding for her to precede him up the stairs, before facing the old man once more.  He starts up the staircase, keeping an eye on their 'guest'.  Once he is sure the man is following, Duncan heads for the deambulatoire, never taking his eyes off the man.

This building is Elysium.  Violence is not allowed, on pain of death, except in cases of self-defense.  That is probably to your benefit, so I wouldn't break it.
Duncan doesn't say anything else; he merely walks slowly up the stairs, giving William time to warn people of their imminent arrival.

The old man vaguely nods, chuckles, and eventually browses a pocket to roll a cigarette.
(Old guy) I know nothing of your vocabulary, and I don't care.

He stops an instant, observing his newly made cigarette, before putting it between his lips. He doesn't reach for matches or lighter. He resumes walking up as if nothing, keeping a good distance. He speaks with a certain cynism. Maybe he's a bit tipsy, plus his walk isn't smooth and nice. He certainly sounds he's in some kind of altered state.
(Old guy) I'm disappointed, last time I came here they weren't so quick to get what I was...

Celine seems to be discussing subjects with Mikael, while Theodore has reentered Elysium and is talking to Marc. Gosuin's room has closed doors, and Darvault is nowhere to be seen. Griffin is listening to the mortal who had entered Elysium a little earlier, both sitting on the table Duncan and Theodore were.

William runs up to the table with Mikael and Celine, not making any effort to be subtle as there was a rather certain amount of urgency to the matter, nor did he lower his voice, so other kindred would be aware on what was happening and they could prepare themselves.
"Hörsman- Celine, Lupin in the hallway... Coming up the stairs to speak with the prince. I thought, I'd let you know?"
He pulls an 'I kid you not and you might want to hurry' face only moments before Duncan, Nyx and their new friend entered the room.

Duncan continues into the deambulatoire, keeping the old man in sight the entire way.  It is only when they come through the door that his eyes glance briefly around the room.  Everyone's gaze is turned upon them.

Oddly, this seems to relieve some of the tension in Duncan's stance.  He turns back to the ragged old man, and gestures with an arm toward the Prince's chamber.  Then he starts in that direction, not bothering to see if the old man follows.

Once he is close to the Prince's chamber, Duncan stops and bows to the Prince, who has stood up from his desk.  Then he straightens, and speaks.

Prince Gosuin, this envoy says he is here to speak with you.  He has not given his name.

With that, Duncan moves to the side about ten feet.  The young Brujah stands at ease, watching the old man, waiting for what comes next.

The homeless old guy follows without any problems, he doesn't look around. Once he gets into the Deambulatoire, he stops an instant, then lights his own cigarette, hiding the flame of the match behind a hand. He then takes a few more steps behind Duncan, and nods when presented to the Prince, offering a very yellowish, a bit mocking smile.

Gosuin nods when Duncan bows, and when he states the man had not presented himself, he answers.
(Gosuin) "Winemaker", Mr Oliver, his name is Winemaker.
(Winemaker) You remember ! I am no envoy.

The French word is "Vigneron", but I'll use only the English version.
The Garou puts his cigarette between his lips and browses his coat an instant, and pulls out what looks like a small plastic shopping bag, full of what one could guess are objects, soft and hard ones. He lets it fall in front of him, letting hear the distinctive sound of bones.
(Winemaker) I tried to contact Chriss about this, he says, indicating the bag, but couldn't get a hold on him. I figured it would end up here anyway, so...

Gosuin listens calmly, giving a glance at the bag. While the werewolf pauses to inhale some smoke, the Prince just makes a slight nod.
(Gosuin) Please continue.
(Winemaker) This piece of vice came in my territories and started nosing around a bit too much. When confronted and told to leave, she decided it wasn't worth listening, so I destroyed her.
(Gosuin) My subjects are very well aware of our non aggression treaty-
(Winemaker) I didn't come to listen to your sneaky excuses, and don't plan on holding one leech's actions against all others. If you wanted to break the treaty, you'd do it with more skilled ones.

The Ventrue makes an effort to bite his tongue. The old man is right, and both are aware of it.
(Gosuin) What is the purpose of your presence then ?
(Winemaker) You've got traitors among your kind.

As he states so, the werewolf turns around to observe the few presents, then faces the Prince again.
(Winemaker) She named a certain "Sturbridge" before I killed her. She had red hair. I am sure you will identify her through these remains, because I know nothing of your names, nor your tribes, nor if she was, indeed, under your watch. I won't start a war with you because of her actions, don't fear. I ask only for you to control properly your race.

perception+alertness>4:

The werewolf smokes a bit more while Gosuin answers.
(Gosuin) I see. I appreciate the information and we will make sure others will not be a bother to you nor to others.
(Winemaker) I suppose this weeks.. happenings are under control as well.
(Gosuin) They are. I do not think they have affected any of your kind, have they ?
(Winemaker) Oh, no, I was just wondering, considering how the news handled it.. Nothing to care about on our side.

Gosuin signs Celine she should take the bag, which she does with a little look. The Garou openly ignores her and lets her come back to her Domitor.
(Gosuin) We will take care of this.
(Winemaker) Oh, since I'm here... One of ours has gone missing. If you hear about a bunch screaming humans running everywhere, it may be Nicole Lemoine. If you find her, I am willing to give you a hand against your enemies. When she's human, she has white short hair and she looks like your average retired lady.
(Gosuin) I understand. We'll keep an eye out and let you know.

The werewolf turns around and makes a move showing he's ready to leave, regardless of he's walked outside or not.

OOC:

Gosuin gives back a glance at Duncan and makes a slight hand movement, indicating they can escort him out as well. Not by fear he'd do anything odd, but it seems it would be more secure. He also gives a look at Celine, bows the head, understanding. She puts the bag on a corner of the room before walking to accompagny them.

Mikael finally lets go of William's arm when he whispers, and nods to show he agrees with his words.
Vigneron finishes his cigarette and makes a slight detour to tuck it through the balcony. He disregards being walked or followed, visibly quite secure about himself.

In the stairs, with whoever went with him, he lets out a few words, open for discussion.
(Winemaker) Your guy got to be scared of something really badly, to "obey" my wishes like that. Your security problems are so important, uh?

Duncan accompanies the Lupine, although he doesn't bother to stay in the lead this time, as the man knows the way out (and has possibly been here before).  As they pass, Duncan raises an eyebrow at Nyx, inviting her to come but not pushing it.

When the old man makes his comment about how the Prince must be scared, Duncan shrugs.

Perception+Empathy>4:

I don't know enough about the treaty he mentioned to comment on that, even if I cared to.  If you're talking about the remains you delivered, it sounds like that person paid for their trespass with their life.  If you're talking about keeping an eye out for your missing kin, it sounds like common courtesy... a favor for a favor.

By the way, is she likely to be not in her right mind? The way you spoke, it sounds like you expect her to cause a scene.

Vigneron chuckles, coughs once, then nods.
(Winemaker) The treaty was negociated with a kid named Chriss. It's as simple as this : you guys don't bother us, and we don't bother you. Let's face it, last time we had issues was in the fifties, and it was solved by an eye for an eye. As for Nicole.. well our types have an issue keeping our tempers in check. She got a bit harder time than the rest of us.

He thinks about it a moment, stopping from walking, then he resumes. He seems to state what he considers being basic common knowledge, and hopes he's not teaching them anything.
(Winemaker) Ugh, well, don't try and stop her if she's pissed if you want your head to remain attached to its body, right ? For your security issues, we've all got enemies, you kind are your own enemies it seems. Find Nicole and I will give you a hand. Or a paw..
