| This has always bugged me. In the cutscene at the end of the Mudd Hunt quest you get to witness Mike getting smacked dead and the superfast killer escaping through the window. The cutscene ends, and Mike's corpse is suddenly... dissolved? This is how I'm interpreting it anyway.
Would it be possible to make dead Muddy stay after his death, or maybe put a corpse placeable by the characters feet, like the one in ghoul pauls apartment?

| I'm guessing his corpse is like all other NPC corpses for some reason, rather than being an object or a part of the scenery.
I think it would be great if all corpses in the game would stick around. It's always nice to admire your handiwork after a big fight. Also, it's fun to try to kill them all in the same spot to make a nice healthy corpse pile.
My theory is, the world of darkness has incredibly powerful bacteria who devour corpses in seconds.

| That's an interesting idea that makes sense. I wonder if that could actually be done, something to think about. I do wish that bodies didn't disppear, or at least didn't disappear so quickly. If I could find the timer I would definately make it a solid minute or so before they vanish. | |

| The time for dead bodies to disappear is something set in the spawnflags, afaik. But I don't exactly know which bits to set or unset to keep them longer. For muddy Mike, I'd rather suggest putting bodyparts like the severed arm or leg on the map, and unhiding them when the cutscene is done. It's more fitting with the way our friend from brothers salvage deals with his victims. - | |

| Bodyparts are good. Better when attached to people, but you can't have everything, can you? - redeyesandlonghair wrote:

Exactly! A big, warm carnage is something to treasure. Now you can't even take pictures of it. 'course, it makes the masquerade so much easier to protect...

| My kids and I decided long ago that it's done by house elves (granted, ones with a taste for gothic horror). They tidy up the mansions in Resident Evil as well. Leaving the corpses would be nice, but considering we have trouble walking over a 2x4 on a hospital floor without stuttering and stumbling, a corpse in a bathroom might trap you. | |

| Hm, house elves? I don't know... Do you want the tooth fairy as well? And if she doesn't have change, she will have to take out her pliers, and get your other fang as well Perhaps a pack of rats could follow the character. That would also be convenient in places where there aren't a lot of humans. A fast food chain that's always handy (unless you're Ventrue of course) - | |

| Or a pack of wolves, or maybe more urban-friendly, dogs? They don't have wolves in LA even in Griffith Park for the Black Spiral Dancers to hang out with. In any case, there are dogs models to recycle in Brothers Salvage. There is also a cat in King's Road. At worst I could do the modelling, but don't hire Gimble for taking anatomical references | |

| Ok, I'll turn the haven bum into a cat. And make the pc goul it. Then the cat follows the pc, and that explains the pack of feral dogs following both of them. | |

No kidding. In the hospital basement in L.A., I am now in the habit of removing all of the scrap lumber before I talk to Pisha, because one time I started stumbling around and somehow got stuck in the wall by the door, unable to move. I had to go back to a saved game to get out of it. (This was one of my first few times through the game... before I knew about noclip). Very annoying. And keep your feral mutts away from me. House elves too.
