| Once he was left by Alicia and Corinna, Felix had found himself looking around being uncertain of what to do first. The call from Miriel had diverted his attention, certainly, though he seemed a little hesitant to approach her, since she seemed to be surrounded by quite a few individuals. Once Neb approached, he slowly gave in and stepped closer.- Perception + Empathy >4:
He looks a bit nervous as he approaches.

| Duncan greets Felix with a smile and friendly nod as the Toreador approaches the table and speaks to everyone. A brief grimace is thrown at William when he tells people to introduce themselves, but it's obvious Duncan isn't really annoyed.
I'm happy to do so, given a chance. Hello, M. Sommier. I'm Duncan Oliver, of clan Brujah. Don't let Mlle. De Boucher's talk of a harem scare you off. Any action taken in that area is totally up to you.
So you've both been presented? That's good... More new Kindred in the mix always keeps it lively. We've had a few other new people in the past few days, although some of them seem to have left Bordeaux almost as quickly as they arrived. Perhaps the events of last week convinced them that they should seek safer ground. But there's plenty of opportunity here.

| He gave a smiled as the others introduced themselves - even Neb again.
"It's a pleasure to meet you all. I was presented this evening, though I'm not certain of how well I did."
He looked to Duncan with a confused look at his comment.
"Ah, forgive me, what do you mean by events? I'm afraid I haven't been privy to anything that has really happened over the last few nights due to my sire keeping me for teaching."

| - OOC:
Miriel is very human looking, she breathes, she blinks, she's pink, she even looks warm. And I'm not as good as her player to portray that living features so please go with it :p Miriel chuckles at the seriousness shown by the two neonates and how they took the harem comment. A careful eye would have noticed a glare by some older kindred in the room, including the three Harpies. She waves it off as if nothing and sits back with a smile. She throws a bored, falsely disappointed look at Duncan.(Miriel) You are one useless wingman... She observes with (false?) interest Neb, then Felix.(Miriel) Well, considering you still have your limbs, and that the Tremere Harpy has not ashed you, I'd say you did just fiiine... I'm Miri. Ex-ghoul, uh ? She shows interest in Neb's old status, and how he openly speaks about it. She then thinks about events, crossing her legs in the other direction, and states a few of them seemingly at random.(Miriel) Bodies on the shore, Sabbat intrusions, a very happy Tremere Primogen, a Gargoyle, a precedent Prince who "drops by"... Many opportunities indeed, right? Since this city is an entrance gate, I am not really surprised some just present themselves, then off they go to wander around... I think I'm staying. She gives a look at Fred when she mentions she's staying.(Miriel) And you too, right? Oh, you know of many events. And the future holds many of them ! Theodore Jacob seemed to have heard about the Harem comment, and as he parts from Doctor, he approaches the group as if nothing.(Theodore) How come I'm not invited? He doesn't hide he's using it as an excuse to approach two people he has not met yet, curious but also leery, suspicious and not trusting. He gives both new neonates a careful look, but seems to be waiting for something. Miriel gave him the "oh please, you're always invited" look.

Duncan seems surprised that Felix doesn't know about what happened last week, but he hides it well. Duncan ignores Miriel's 'wingman' quip. Yet when Fred doesn't introduce himself despite William's suggestion, Duncan indicates him with a hand gesture and gives a brief comment. This gentleman is Fred, who is Malkavian. You'll have to forgive him; he's a bit... preoccupied this evening. The young Brujah shakes his head at Miriel's less-than-clear summary of last week's events, and adds his own comments to clarify things for the confused Felix.Yes, well, quite a few things happened last week, but I was talking about the Sabbat attacks... a few in Brujah territory, Theodore Jacob's domain; and one on a church, a former Tremere chantry. A good bit of cover-up had to be done. That's one reason for tonight's gathering. Mlle. De Boucher and I were in the church, talking to the Tremere Primogen, when the attack took place. Miriel managed to stake one of them, and he is to be executed tonight. Despite my comments a moment ago, I'm not sure the Sabbat attack is the reason why several new Kindred have decided to leave Bordeaux. But it seems a likely excuse. When Theodore approaches the table and speaks, Duncan stands once more.Primogen Jacob, of Clan Brujah, may I present Felix Sommier and Neb-uau Mubarak. Duncan gives a little hand gesture to Neb-uau, indicating that he should stand... and he looks at William with a raised eyebrow, and tilts his head toward the elder.

| William looks at Neb. "Trust me, as a kindred, shooting yourself in the foot is a minor annoyance. And guns aren't always the most efficient way. But not everyone is a gun wielder, I myself know the basics, but I'm more of a demolitions and explosions expert... amongst other things. Has your sire informed you on how your body now actually reacts to danger and types of wounds? I presume you atleast know the basics since you spend a while as a Ghoul, then again, depending the vampire, that means nothing." | |

| - Evil plots for world domination and backstabbing done in the Prince's room:
Christopher lets out a dark little chuckle, finding some twisted bit of humor in the words of the Prince. He elaborates on it soon enough. “Hey, you need someone to keep an eye on the troublemakers in this place, you could just put me up in charge out there. Sneak out a few little rumors of my alliances and nature, and watch them try to hide in the shadows before remembering that they are my domain there.” The ‘proposition’ to the Prince to put the Lasombra in any position of power is spoken pretty half-heartedly. At this moment, Chris doesn’t appear to have the ambition to take up the responsibilities such a position would entail. He mentioned it more simply for the amusement the mental image brought him. “I’ll keep them all neatly in line, and if they dare to put a toe out, they’ll be maimed and skewered to the point where they cannot repeat their mistake.” The Lasombra doesn’t make more mentions of Lyle or his activities, either because he doesn’t have more knowledge, or simply to just keep a few things up his sleeve for a later, more opportune and profitable moment. All things considered, the later is the more likely one.
“Heh. Sounds familiar alright. Your plight with that Villon that is.” He accepts the letter handed to him and reads its contents with a certain amount of interest and care to commit the information to memory. When he’s done and convinced he had poked around between the lines enough, Christopher hands the letter back to the Prince. “The words of an annoyed and displeased megalomaniac who sees only about as far as the tip of his own nose and forgets any big picture that might be there, all nicely veiled up behind concern and care. Some things will never change.” Chris lets out a sigh, adopting an expression of mock concern. “It would be such a shame if this help never arrived. The disappearance of someone with such great intentions…. Oh, the mere thought of it just chills my heart. The world would certainly be just a little darker then.” And wasn’t a darker world just what exactly Kindred thrive in. Though to some it might almost be disturbing how casually he brings up the suggestion to murder a Camarilla official without even blinking his eyes, and how he then just brushes the issue aside as though he was speaking merely of the weather. “Thank you for your offer of assistance, though I do believe I possess knowledge of the Camarilla to fit in well enough when I have to. That is, when any other path taken will only lead to the spot I’m standing on being covered in a new layer of dust. I’ll keep the offer in mind though. Might I suggest a later date for this little heart to heart where we tell one another all our secrets?” He certainly means the Prince’s request to learn more about the Sabbat. “I’d hate for the others out there to think the silence and calm here means that I have gotten it in my head that you make a perfect little meal.”

| Duncan looked like he was about to answer Felix's question about Annabelle, but Theodore Jacob walked up before he could do so. The younger Brujah remains silent, awaiting his Primogen's response.
However, this doesn't stop him from giving Neb-uau and William a frustrated look, as they continue to speak.

| - Gosuin's room:
Gosuin smiles with a little idea in mind when Chris mentions being in charge, but he doesn't take it for anything more than a joke. He even seems to think about it, appreciating the "what if" scenario. (Gosuin) Bordeaux has always been cordial but detached from the capital. I see you understand exactly what is happening. As you probably know, the country technically has only one prince, Villon. In truth, Marseille has become Anarch, and there has always been a Prince here. Before me, however, the Prince was one of Villon's childe. That Toreador woman was sent here to take power, but she barely knew the city, if not only for wine.
He even frowns a little when he speaks of his predecessor. Oddly, and Chris knows so, he doesn't mention that technically, the Prince just before him was Tarcisus, even if his princedom did not last. (Gosuin) As much as I dislike it, however, Villon is very good at his job, and he holds the country quite well. Archons are no good news, and if they could disappear I would be pleased, sadly I cannot afford such loss lest I have not only the Spanish Sabbat, but also the Parisian Camarilla in my domain. I'll play nice and show the strength of the city, with some luck and God's help, they'll leave soon and we won't heard from them again.
He knows it's unlikely but he seems to like to dream that for once, things can go smoothly. (Gosuin) Regardless, it is my job and responsibility to deal with these affairs, I've managed for so long and this case is no different from the others. I will just appeal to your common sense to keep an acceptable profile for the court. I would like to avoid an Archon report saying I somehow became antitribu.
He's polite about it, but the Prince isn't really "asking" Chris to behave. It's in both kindred's interest anyway, and the Ventrue knows how to present things in the best light possible. A little manipulative, but it's truthful and honest in his negociation ; it's really a good compromise. He fully ignores the meal part, obviously not afraid. (Gosuin) We'll certainly have time in the near future to continue our discussion, then.
He makes a little hand gesture, inviting Chris to leave if he wishes and if he has nothing else to say. (Gosuin) Please leave the door open.

| Celine welcomes Mikael with a slight bow of the head. She invites him to go upstairs if he wishes to, not giving any message or any change of plans. Everything seems to be going as planned.
Theodore can't help a laugh when William says he looked badass. (Theodore) Yeah sorry, I saw something moving and my two neurones managed to recognize you before I pulled the trigger. You shouldn't worry about guns, but about ammo. And there's no trick, just practice and more practice...
He then shrugs and puts his palms up in the air, showing a total no-care body language. (Theodore) "Theodore" is fine, I'm not a protocol guy. It's custom however, to stand when someone with more status than you approaches. He says so but doesn't show openly if he's offended or not. You guys are newly embraced or newly arrived? Felix and.. Nebuo ? Any relation to the president?
His use of plain first names is either paternalistic or just rude ; maybe an answer to their not-so-protocolish behavior. While he didn't get the first name of Neb-uau right (a bit too exotic for him, he did understood perfectly his last name, hence his comment about him being related to the (Egyptian) ex-president. He resigned less than two months ago (Feb 2011).
Miriel stood as well when Duncan mentioned his title and smiled at the Brujah Primogen. (Miriel) "Ammo", uh..?
She then gives a glance at Neb ; he didn't answer her comment about him being an ex ghoul, so she'll probably ask again, later. (Theodore) Yeah, special anti-dead people ammo. Wouldn't be using any firearms if we hadn't some special stuff to fill it with. I won't intrude too long anyway, just wanted to know if you'd found anything new.
He doensn't name it, but using the verb "find" and the fact he seems to be talking to Duncan, as he addressed him, can let those in the know to guess what he means.

| "Ohh, wooden bullets? Magically enhanced bullets? I wonder what the effects would be" William added after Theodore explained he was carrying a little more than your average rifle.
He ignored the comment about finding something new, since he figured it wasn't really orientated at him after he briefly considered the pictures they had uncovered. Once Theodore was busy with Duncan, he turned back to Neb, giving a 'what?!' look at Duncan. "Emptying a bank account? Not exactly the most challenging of things. Their persistent use of Pascal code that hasn't changed since the nineties as their back-end and the glaring problems present in Apache and serialised data storage systems make them easier to hack than the last few years. But I get your point."

| - Gosuin's little room:
Chris gives a slow nod, his arms crossed before his chest with one hand idly stroking the lines of his moustache as he processes the information he gets from Gosuin and aligns it with his own. It seems to confirm one another well enough. At least, he doesn't outwardly frown nor ask any questions. "Villon hm. I've heard of that guy yea. Lets just say that what I heard, was nothing positive. The last I heard.....something about his lineage being mixed with rather undesirable elements. It was rather creative in a way actually." He seems half tempted to share the remark he heard, though with regards to his current company, as well as the side this company favors in the Jyhad, he keeps it to himself."Those that have the power, intelligence, and wits to hold a city, will eventually get their hold on a city. Anyone unworthy of that position will find his or her reign cut short. Villon might not be popular here, but he has, apparently, enough support elsewhere, as well as be capable enough not to gain more enemies." The Lasombra smiles a radient and entirely innocent looking smile that just doesn't manage to reach his eyes that shine with an almost sadistic enjoyment. "Then again, luck is also an important factor, and unfortunate accidents tend to happen. Rather often." His expression returns to something more neutral, though a slight hint of a grin remains. "Personally, I don't like relying on luck, and I am of the opinion that God only helps those who help themselves." He gives the Bordeaux Prince a shallow bow. "But I suppose I've bored you enough with my barbaric Sabbat opinions." - Etiquette + ?? =??:
Though the bow is sincere enough (as in, it is not overly mocking), it doesn't exactly say subversion to the Prince. Chris continues seeing the Prince as nothing more than an equal. Possibly even a little less, but then, that would merely be an assumption.
"You know where to find me if you have an available moment for our discussion. Just follow the trail of broken hearts and Tremere slowly losing their sanity." Christopher straightens himself out again, idly easing a few wrinkles from his suit. "Sometimes I think I would've made a better Malkavian. I'd have an actual excuse for spreading madness and headaches wherever I go. A good evening to you, Prince Gosuin." With that, Chrisopher turns around and moves to the door. He listens to anything that Gosuin might still have to say, but doesn't return an answer. As requested, he leaves the door open when he goes through it. Christopher immediately looks around to find Claudia.

| After thanking Celine for her assisstance, Mikael moves upstairs to the meet the rest of the Kindred.
Mikael Horsman is a short man, of about 1.67-1.68m, with a very pallid skin, and one cannot guess his body type due to the suit he wears. He seems to be on his early twenties, and bears a very young, but handsome face (although certainly he is not the most handsome guy in the room). He has dark brown hair and eyes and is shaven.
Mikael has come fully armored for a Kindred reunion: a black suit, a red vest, a red/black tie, a social white shirt and black shoes, belt and pants. Atop of it all he is wearing a red scarf, not around his neck to protect it from the cold, but left freely falling to both sides of his body. A red handkerchief is visible from the chest pocket on his suit.
As for jewelry, Mikael possess two rings, one on his pinky left finger and another on his right ring finger. The left ring is of silver, with an orange gemstone shaped in the form of a two-dimmensional flame. His right ring is also of silver, with a red gemstope of oval shape.- Mikael's outfit (Pictures!):
His outfit minus the scarf - Click me I'm a link How he is using the scarf (if my english has failed me) - Click me
After arriving and making a quick scan of the room, Mikael proceeds to the table with the two Tremere (Claudia and Griffin), giving social greetings to anyone on his way.

| - Gosuin's room:
(Gosuin) I dislike Villon because he meddles in my affairs and and my city's. But he is a capable Prince.
Obviously he thinks someone else would be better for the job, but he doesn't say anything about how he is ruling other parts of the country. He did get what was hinted at and doesn't comment on the "lineage" jokes. (Gosuin) Have a nice evening as well, Mr Orlov.
Claudia is sitting with Laure, Jerome, and Griffin. She gave a look when she heard the doors open and seemingly resumes her conversation (a serious one, it seems), with the others. She and Griffin stand at Mikael's arrival, but they don't offer hands to take (they saw each other earlier in the chantry). Jerome and Laure stand as well out of politeness, but unless Mikael indicate he wants to talk to the Toreador, they excuse themselves. Many people give a glance when the door of Gosuin's room open, and oddly, during their conversation, quite a few people arrived.
Gosuin sits back in his chair and takes a few notes as if nothing, looking fairly available should anyone need to speak to him.- Mikael:
The general mood is that everyone is calm and peaceful. Griffin is visibly annoyed, but it's wearing off. Claudia, Laure and Jerome are worried for some reason, Jerome in particular has a strong sense of sadness and doubt. Miriel is calm and flirty but her aura is very vivid and alive, not the regular pale kindred, which Mikael had noticed before. How odd. Theodore Jacob, next to her and the neonates, is amused and interested. Neve Rosetti and Emilio seem to be enjoying the night and discussing, their aura show mixed emotions according to the topics of their conversation. The Diablerie marks show in Emilio, as he had diablerized a Ventrue who was under a blood hunt for diablerizing his own sire, in the late 1800's. Mikael recognizes the mark and he even noticed they had faded since he last saw the Setite, during WWII. Doctor and Igor are calm, Igor is more innocent as some white sparkles. Gosuin is intrigued. Christopher Orlov, Lyle's guest, is all pure white and innocent.

| Despite the fact that Theodore isn't too concerned with protocol, Duncan takes the trouble to explain after the introductions are done, and the elder Brujah has spoken.
I know you aren't a stickler for that stuff, but Jean-Pierre Griffin suggested we show the new people how things work, for everyone's benefit. I thought I'd start by standing up at an elder's approach, and introducing them. I'll leave additional details to them, such as their clan, and the identity of their sires.
As for information... nothing new since we last spoke. Nyx might have something when she joins us, and William may have discovered a few things since last evening. But nothing that solves the Nosferatu's problem yet... which means they won't be helping us with William's mission yet, either. That is on hold until we have enough to satisfy them.
Duncan sticks to generalities, obviously not wanting to go into detail with the new people there. However, now that he's answered Theodore's question, Duncan turns and speaks to Felix.
To answer your previous question-- No, last week's attack by the Sabbat was not the one where Annabelle was reported killed. That one was a couple of months ago. The one last week wasn't planned as well, fortunately. We're still on alert, though. That's a given, this close to the Spanish border.
With a smile at William, Duncan comments on the Tremere's earlier remark. Wooden bullets are crap. Not heavy enough to retain any kinetic energy; and if they don't penetrate, what's the point? Teflon or phosphorous rounds, on the other hand... those can be mean. Harder to obtain, though.
I don't even carry a gun most of the time. A knife is more dangerous, if you know what you're doing. Wouldn't it be great if we could carry swords? A nice broadsword or katana, carried under a trench coat. Duncan laughs briefly. Like that TV show, in the 90's.
