Fred sits more appropriate and looks at Duncan.
Ah, what do you want me to see?

William shrugged after he said goodbye to Claudia in passing.
"I don't see why not, you promised me a road trip after all. And as you might have noticed by now, I don't do well when it comes to the icky social gathering stuff. It's not my forté."

With the hook of his cane, he pulled open the door and gestured at Nyx and towards the exit, "After you."

After Claudia takes a seat, Duncan sits as well.  He saves whatever he was working on and minimizes the window, then he takes an SD chip out of his laptop case and plugs it into the computer.  The Brujah frowns thoughtfully at Neb-uau for a moment: and then he shrugs, as if Neb's presence is no concern after all.  However, rather than answer Claudia, Duncan addresses Fred first, so that the Malkavian doesn't lose interest again.

Well Fred, William left me that SD card that you and he found last night.  It contained pictures, and some seem to have been taken in that hospital you told us about--- where your sire lived.  I hope that doesn't upset you.  You were too... agitated to look at them earlier.

William, Miriel and I talked about it, and we think we know one of the people in the last two pictures; but we've only seen pictures of her.  Maybe you and Claudia can confirm who it is.

Duncan turns to Claudia now, and his expression becomes more serious, although from his words it's not immediately clear why.

Perception+Empathy>5, possibly Claudia and Miriel also, since they've known Duncan a few days.:

William suggested that we show these to your friend, but I said that might not be a good idea until we find out more.

While he's been speaking, Duncan opened up a picture file, and displayed them as thumbnails, although he enlarges the last two pictures in the file.  Miriel and Claudia should be on either side of Duncan; Fred and Neb will have to stand up and look over Duncan's shoulder

Anyone at the table who looks at the pictures.:

He listened and gave a nod, agreeing silently when Claudia mentioned how good Griffin was in regards to dominate. He stiffened visibly once he noticed M. Orlov was back, and seemed to calm slightly when Claudia left to talk with him. He looked towards Jerome.

"Yes, it does. There's quite a lot to learn. It's quite daunting." He admitted.

"If that clan can hide public in Elysium, how can you be certain that you speak witht he same one each court? Wouldn't they just pretend to be each other?" He asked, obviously a little bothered by that idea. "They are still Kindred, even if they are very odd to look at."

He looked to Igor, stiffening for a moment as the other made himself known, as well as made it known that he knew the names of both Toreador. "Yes, that's right, Sir. Forgive me, I do not know of you."

Fred stands up.
I'll try to provide information after the best of my abilities.

With this said he goes to have a look at Duncan's computer.
When he does he freezes after going down on his knees and removing his beanie with big wet puppy eyes.
He places his hand on the table infront of the computer and stares at one of the pictures; looking like he's about to cry at any second.

Marie? Is it truly her?
I miss her.. I miss them all, but her the most; she was always ever kind to me.. And I left her..
Fred sheds a couple of tears, but doesn't sob.

Duncan furrows his brow for a moment, and looks at a flashing icon down at the corner of his screen.  Yet before he has a chance to do anything about it, Fred goes down to his knees and grasps the table next to him.

Oh hell...
When Fred starts to cry, Duncan gives a half-frustrated, half-desperate look at Miriel and Claudia as if to say, "Can't you do something?"  Yet he sighs and stands, scooting his chair back.  He pulls the Fred up with little effort, despite the awkwardness of lifting a limp body, and deposits him in the Malkavian's own chair.  Then Duncan bends down and talks quietly in Fred's ear, to avoid attracting too much notice-- a doomed effort, for the display has already caused heads to turn.

The table, Auspex 1:

The Brujah claps Fred on the shoulder as he stands.  He then returns to his chair, and looks around the table with another sigh.

Sorry about that.  Um, Claudia?  Do you recognize either woman?  Or both?  You can discuss it later, or outside, if you'd rather not do it here.  This is becoming too... dramatic.

Nyx nodded slightly and lit her cigarette, after a deep inhale and exhale she responded.

It will be a short one I'm afraid, but never mind, I can take you on a longer one next time.

She slowed as they got closer to the door.

Ha, me neither, though I doubt that escaped your notice.

When William opened the door for her he could plainly see her hesitate, unused to the niceties he showed her. With a silent nod of thanks she passed through the door smoking the cigarette quickly, by the time they got to her scooter she snubbed it out under her boot.

I think I'm going to have to get an extra helmet at this rate...

"Or I could get a car once everything settled down. it has like a build in helmet.... for the body."
William added once he got on.

William could see Nyx fiddled with her ears for a minute before putting her helmet on, when she got on the scooter she readjusted the strap of her satchel and started the engine.

Then you'd get stuck in traffic.

After William held around her middle she started off for their destination.

OBVIOUSLY, Neb meant Duncan's email, not his computer.


Claudia observes Duncan when he tells her, with a certain seriousness, about the pictures. She squints her eyes when he opens the windows explorer, showing a few thumbnails of the pictures, before opening the last ones. She shakes her head slightly, but it's clear she understands what she sees.
(Claudia) I'd rather discuss this somewhere else, maybe at home even. You're right about your.. doubts.

She sounds quite serious and lost her smile. She's thinking about the situation.
(Claudia) I do recognize her. It's certainly who you think it is.

She makes a gesture indicating the naked woman.
(Claudia) But the other, she.. looks familiar.

Claudia has completely shut down, seeing the pictures. She's trying her best not to let others read through her behavior.. That, or her nature is showing up.
(Claudia) Can I have that.. card a moment ?

She shows an open hand.

When Claudia asks for the SD card, Duncan says:  Just a moment.  He immediately saves the last two pictures, and two random pics from the creepy eyes set; then he closes the Media viewer and removes the card.

Here... with the understanding that we want this back.  It's important to our search for someone.  Not one of the ones in the pictures, either.

After handing the card to Claudia, Duncan looks at something else on his computer for a moment.  He glances at Neb briefly and catches his eye, followed by a small nod.  Then he turns back to his computer and closes a couple of applications, and tucks the USB drive into the case.

Well, I don't think I'm going to get a lot of work done here.  Too many distractions.  Mlle. Vonigner, thank you for your input. Perhaps we could visit you later this evening, after the "festivities", and get your opinion on that matter.  Until then, I think I'm going to go outside and sit on the plaza.  That way I can get a little work done, yet I won't be too far from the Theatre.  If I'm out there long, maybe I'll catch Nyx and William when they return from their road trip.

To Miriel, Fred, and Neb-uau, Duncan says:
You're welcome to join me, if you like.  I'll understand if you'd rather wait in here, though.

With that, Duncan turns off his laptop, zips up the case, and stands up.

Fred, having been put back on his seat by Duncan, puts his main focus on trying to reign himself in, realizing that he causes problems for the latter and probably the people at the table in general.
He wipes his tears and take a few unnecessary breaths.

When Duncan tucks away the USB, Fred reacts.

Mister Duncan! Please accept my apology for being a bother to you; but could I please look upon the picture one more time? I promise I will keep myself in check, I just wish to see her a final time.

Fred removes his beanie and keeps the puppy eyes, surrender to his will silly Brujah!

Neb stands up when Duncan does and prepares to follow him.

Mlle. Vonigner, I hope to see you again latter this evening. Neb smiles warmly.

The Tremere Ancillae nods when Duncan states he wants it back. She seems surprised it was even mentioned.
(Claudia) I never intended to keep it. It will only take a moment.

She takes the card and keeps it into her hands. By the time Duncan noticed something and has closed his tabs, the Tremere closed her eyes and seems to be somewhat of in trance, as if she didn't acknowledge her surroundings. A few seconds after, she opens her eyes and holds the card over to Duncan so he can take it back. She hears Neb and gives him a wide smile in return, seemingly snapping out of the semi shut down state she was in.
(Claudia) Certainly! You can come as well if you wish.

She gives a look at Duncan, then at Miriel.
(Claudia) I don't think you will ever be able to find him, considering what I just saw.

Of course Mlle. Vonigner. It would be my pleasure.

Fred's question makes Duncan frown a bit, but he glances down at his laptop and finally nods in reply.
I understand it's a bit... personal.  How about we wait until we're outside?  That way you can talk about it without worrying about privacy issues.  Or, um... unwanted attention.

Duncan raises an eyebrow as Claudia goes into trance for a moment... it seems he was not expecting any mystical activity where the SD card was concerned.  By the time she hands it back, Duncan's face is normal once more.  He tucks the card into a pocket of the laptop case, and closes it again.  After Claudia's last statement he pauses for a moment, his countenance thoughtful.

That in itself tells us something.  We'll have to get more details to satisfy a few people, though.  Thank you, mademoiselle.  If anyone asks, we'll return before the hearing. Until then.

With a glance at the others, Duncan will start for the exit.

Fred nods and keeps his beanie in his hands.

I understand, I'll follow you outside.
That said, Fred waits for Duncan to leave and follows him once he does.

Jerome gives his childe a wide smile when he mentions Nosferatu's ability to hide.
(Jerome) That is indeed an issue. Which is why we generally don't speak to the Nosferatu.
(Igor) Trust, of course, Mr Lehin ! It all relies on trust. Anyway as Nosferatus we generally act as one, somehow, so every favor you give us, it's for the whole clan, and if a Nosferatu owes you a favor, the whole clan does. We then, internally, settle individual scores. Sometimes.

Igor sounds oh so very joyful. He smiles and speaks with enthusiasm.
(Igor) I'm Igor, occultist extraordinaire. I generally don't hide. To be fair, nobody looks at us close enough, but there are certain elemens..

He takes a seat, and gives a glance at Jerome, who doesn't seem to disapprove, and sits.
(Igor) Clothing choice, inflections, certain items.. I always wear this.

He moves his cowl a little, indicating he's talking about it.
(Igor) Think of us as the janitors and the grave people. It doesn't matter if it's me or the other, as long as the job gets done, right ? We share information between ourselves anyway, so it doesn't really matter if it's me or someone else... How's your night ?

Claudia has not moved from the table, but Theodore Jacob is approaching her ; she did stand as she noticed and smiled at the Elder Brujah. He sees Neb and indicates he should/can come over as well.
(Theodore) So you're the new snake?

While he uses the nickname, Theodore isn't openly aggressive and despising of Neb.
