Grand Theatre - Déambulatoire Monday March 28th 2011

Griffin doesn't seem to care much more about Christopher and his issues about believing or not. Whetever he is doing on his computer seems to draw Claudia's attention, by curiosity, but she prefers offering a smile to Mikael and answering his questions.
(Claudia).. Uh.. Miss Vanderstree got embraced, but she was a mortal cover for Mr Darvault's publishing of a book.. Igor still wants to interview Rufus.. The Giovanni came and left, with the exception of one.. I've made friends in the language sections of the university, but Mr Griffin still makes sure the literature is kept solid and serious.

As she speaks she counts on her fingers as a way to remembering what she has said. She looks to the side like a scolded puppy an instant, so Griffin doesn't punish her for saying he's serious. She goes on with a smile.
(Claudia) Mr Orlov here seems to be friends with the Regent, even if we all think the Regent lied to him.. Obvious. Ah, Emilio embraced this person, she says indicating Neb-uau. He's charming and has a very lovely voice. Hm.. There are a few issues with the Masquerade, with bodies showing up in the river. I've asked Rufus, he denied it was him. He's been able to feed without leaving traces for years, so I believe him.

Strange thing, that is, naming Rufus as a "he" and not as a "it".
(Claudia) Hm.. Ah, my blood issue has been solved.

She leans a little closer and speaks a few latin words to make others understand what she meant.

The young Tremere lets out a sigh.
(Claudia) I had to move in a few other belongings back into the Chantry because of the justitium. It's like if it was the only thing that bothers her about being in a Martial Law, as if she weren't aware of the impending danger. She adds, with enthusiasm: Oh, and I disagree, Corinna; Duncan Oliver, the Brujah, he's perfectly fine. He's reliable too. Other than that, we've not seen Mr Delacour's painting for a while. It seems he's getting ready for an exhibition, hoping it'll make Alicia keep quiet about his own artistic talents.

Claudia's view on gossip is very mundane. She answered with care to maintain the topics vague and friendly, but her demeanor of worry and distraction remains. She tries to keep out of it by speaking about those mundane topics.




The servant holding the tray bows the head and presents whatever was given by Felix on it. He offers it to Chris when he mentions or motions he wants the phone back.
(Servant) My deepest apologies.

A smartphone usually doesn't break into lots of different pieces, but what is on the tray is mostly the covers, the plastic ; metallic parts (should be) are missing. The servant stays extremely passive and submissive.





Igor chuckles, and brings back his cowl on his face a little more. He seems like a very happy Nosferatu. He then moves around the religious clothing, until a hand comes out of one of the sleeves. He then offers it to Neb to Shake.
(Igor) Pleasure, Neb-uau Mubarak. I'm Igor. And you just don't "meet" Nosferatu, they know you already... But I've seen you somewhere... Shadowy ? Who?

He looks around until he catches what Neb is watching, and he looks pretty interested. The Nosferatu has a wide smile on his ugly face.

Ahh, a well traveled gentleman then. Does not appear to be shocked by Igor's appearance.

Lowers his voice.

Christopher sends one look at the servant with an expression as though he smells something foul, then proceeds to almost completely disregard the human's entire existance. "Simcard," he repeats to the Kindred, annoyance audible in his voice. "You know, little datachip that stores a crapton of information on a phone?" The vampire mutters something under his breath that suspiciously sounds like 'clueless cammie brats' as he goes through the remains of his phone on the bin and searches for it.

Chris’ eyes begin to narrow in further annoyance, a muscle in his eyelid twitching briefly. Very slowly he looks up from the tray and turns his full, undivided attention to one unfortunate vampire nearby. Felix. He smiles, though there is absolutely no warmth, compassion, or joy to be found in it. “I don’t appreciate it when people play coy with me.” His voice is almost, almost pleasant when he speaks. And then it too drops to a coldness that could freeze a flame. “Where is it?”

Victor just sighs with despair and annoyance.
(Victor) Oh, Fred...

He's about to mutter "dumb Malkavians with their dumb brains" or something like that, after all, with his standing, bothering himself with such.. Ugh.
(Lambert) Robert wanted in with the Sabbat and got caught. It's all true. Get over it and build your own life, now. what I found was that he was thinking Sabbat since the 70's, it's got nothing to do with you. Something about the fall of the Franco regime in Spain, he thought he'd have good shots..

Somehow, the Sheriff looks and acts fairly compassionate to his clan brother. He shows the papers.
(Lambert) I'll keep these. There's no need for everyone to know.

Obviously he doesn't know there are other papers, some of which William had kept.

"Going to regret this."
William gets up and rapidly walks up to the scene, harsh taps as his cane resounded to the hard floor. He grabs the hem of Felix's shirt (or whichever he's wearing) and pulls him back, turning the Toreador to him, ignoring the seething Chris with a look of indifference while raising a brow like a proper Tremere. Moving his mouth close to Felix's ear, he whispers.

Felix - the usual bypasses:

Felix's eyes widen, he looks terrified. "I'm not playing coy, I swear!"

He looks to William, seeming worried before he looks back to the other

"Honestly, I'm not sure that I took it." He reasoned, fear becoming obvious in his voice

His hands move to his pockets, and he nervously begins to fish things out. He looks through the pieces, then holds up the card, looking a little nervous before he looks to the other and holds it to him. "Is this it, M. Orlov?"He asked

Auspex 2:

Victor moves away from Fred's path with a raised eyebrow. Whatever has gotten on his mind... Lambert just shrugs, but he does grab the beanie and holds it in hand.


Jerome approaches Felix, followed that Laure that seems to be aiming for Christopher Orlov. She's frowning and she looks far more confident.
(Laure) Should I teach you Elysium rules?

Jerome approaches Felix and glances at William, seemingly asking him silently to let go. He then glances at Christopher, looking fairly defensive.
(Jerome) Is everything all right ?

Mikael gives a little shake on Corinna's hand when he notices her fidgety movements. He smiles
What's that Corinna? Do you know some gossip you're not telling me?

He listens to Claudia's speech with interest, but makes no comment.
Well I would be surprised if a neonate could actually meet your requierements on this regard, mademoiselle.

As the situation with Felix and Chris seems to be turning into a mess, Mikael takes interest on it.
Oh dear - he faints worriedness while almost laughing - are we going to have a scene so early in the night? Bad Kindred.

Mikael looks at the entire fiasco with great attention and appears to be having fun.

Duncan lifts a hand in farewell as Theodore says goodbye; then he greets the Nosferatu.
Hello, Igor.

OOC:

The Brujah listens to Neb and Igor for a moment, but then the confrontation between Orlov and Felix becomes impossible to ignore.  Duncan follows William as the Tremere walks over to Felix and whispers in his ear.

Duncan looks like he's about to say something, but holds it in check as Laure and Jerome appear.  Their questions seem to cover everything he was going to say.  He settles for standing at Felix's flank, and watching the proceedings with interest.

Chris doesn’t appear to accept the terrified denial of Felix, being nowhere near enough of a bleeding heart to be affected by it. His jaw clenches tightly as a second Kindred makes his appearance, hobbling to the first. He waits, though he visibly does not enjoy it. When the card finally comes from the pocket of the unfortunate vampire, Chris immediately snatches it from his hands and double checks it for any damage against the light. Satisfied, he put the small card in his pocket, turning to Felix and for now ignoring the others.
“Let me just give you some advice. Don’t ever take something that belongs to me. Or anyone else for that matter. It could end….unfortunate.” He then gives a look at both Jerome and Laure, his annoyance increasing with every other Kindred that decides to join in on the mess. “I am well aware of the rules, Madame,” he practically sneers that last word. “It’s the reason I’m still reigning in what my first reaction would’ve been.” Considering Chris’ general behavior after he first became annoyed, it would be rather reasonable to think that mentioned reaction would’ve been a violent one.

His attention then turns to the increasing gathering. Raising an eyebrow at all of them. “Show’s over. Scoot. Scatter. Shoo. Don’t you all have something better to do?” His nerves are visibly fraying by the time he steps away from the small gathering and begins to return to his seat and laptop. Lyle would probably have been proud of him for the simple fact not a single drop of blood had been drawn.

Miri decides to watch from afar and lets Duncan fly like a good hero-Brujah. She invites Igor and Neb to rearrange the seats as if nothing.


In the meantime, Alicia profits and closes the door to Gosuin's room, after having made her presence known, she seems to want some privacy with the Prince.

Neve seems to be whispering some comments with Emilio, half amused, half annoyed at the situation. Doctor seems to agree with it.

Claudia watches with a visible worry, and then sighs, turning to Corinna, Mikael and Jean-Pierre. The Harpy seems fairly interested in what has happened and is even taking time to note down a few remarks to himself.
(Jean-Pierre) They surely know how to choose them...

Claudia ends up standing and closes down the laptop Christopher left.
(Claudia) I'm going to try and teach him something...

She moves away to another table, hoping it'll catch Chris attention, so for him to catch up to her.
(Claudia) Let's go, Mr Orlov !

Griffin ends up giving a glance at Mikael and at Corinna.
(Jean-Pierre) I suppose you will contact the Lord, concerning the Regent ?

He asks idly, to Mikael.

Mikael:

Laure looks very displeased.
(Laure) It's in your best interest to behave with dignity and respect. As for you... She gives a glance to Felix, then to Jerome. She sounds between sorry, friendly and admitting some things cannot be helped. Make sure to stay out of trouble, unless invited. As for you, Miss Vonigner is taking off with your computer.

She points at the sneaky Tremere with a smirk, giving a not so noble exit to Orlov.

"Also, are we enjoying ourselves, Monsier Mubarak? I could see you amusement all the way from the other side of the room? Well I cannot lie, I would have been sitting besides you if it wasn't for... me wanting to study the Christopher up close." William added with a grin.

Auspex 2:

"I didn't mean to." He said, his voice shaking slightly. "I didn't know it was yours, you threw it on the ground, you didn't want it anymore. I'm sorry."

The harsh words didn't seem to help. Felix was visibly shaken and nervous. He simply kept mouthing the words "I'm sorry" in response to every word said to him. The Neonate looked to his sire, but then averted his gaze, seeming unwilling to face him at the moment. He said nothing as he stepped away from the scene, making his way to M. Griffin.

He said nothing, his eyes upon his feet. He tried his best to keep his expression neutral, trying his best to avoid allowing his emotions to overwhelm him. Even so, he merely waited.

Nods to William.

Yes, things are getting quite, interesting.

Mikael seems dissapointed at the peaceful conclusion of the drama. He looks at Claudia when she decides to do her little gimmick. He is watching her move away as he answers Griffin.

Of course. Considering the situation I hardly think anything will formally change, but we all must do our duty.

Linguistics - Latin:

Duncan appears unimpressed, both by Orlov's angry outburst and his patronizing attempts to shoo everyone away.  Then again, his expression also shows disapproval of the Toreador's protestations of innocence.  As the Lasombra turns back to his table, Duncan reaches for Sommier's arm to haul him away, but the latter heads for Griffin before Duncan can stop him.  With one last annoyed expression, Duncan shakes his head and returns to his seat, where he listens to William and Neb-uau.

Duncan leans back, and tells William:
Ah, hell; let him enjoy the show if he wants. It's not every day you get melodrama like this.

Good melodrama is always entertaining. As long as one is a step outside of it.
