| Neb notices the attitude as Theodore greats him. Neb approaches the table but remains standing, taking a cue from Claudia that this person is important and to be respected.
Yes sir, I am Emilio's child, just arrived from Egypt. My name is Neb-uau Mubarak. I do not believe that I have had the pleasure sir.
Keeps a very careful air to him.

| Claudia gives a look at Theodore as he claims a sit, then at Neb and seeing it's fairly safe, she sits back as well. (Theodore) Theodore Jacob, I'm the Brujah Primogen. "Theodore", "Theo", "Teddy", "Jacob" it's all good to go. Hey as long as your clan doesn't try to pry on my domain, I'm cool with Independents.
It's like he didn't fully catch it. He indicates one of the chairs, inviting him to sit, and asks. (Theodore) You'd mind repeating your name ?
Claudia looks interested ; she didn't know Neb's last name. (Claudia) Like the general ?

| Takes the seat when Theodore indicates he should.
Of course M. Jacob. It's Neb-uau Mubarak, though I generally just go by Neb at university. Some here have told me I need to find a more, French, name but I was only told that tonight and have not had the opportunity. As far as I am aware we have no plans for your domain so I don't believe that will be a problem. I personally try to judge everyone for how they act towards me, not by their clan.
Neb looks to Claudia.
Well, it's spelled and pronounced the same but there is no relation between us. Or if there is it is so distant that I have never heard of it. I'm afraid I spent most of my time with the students when I was still in Egypt. I hear though that my old friends have gotten into some interesting political situations since I left.

| Theodore nods with assurance and conviction, taking a decision. (Theodore) "Neb" it is, then. Yeah a French-er alias could be useful, just for understanding purposes. It's good, but clan ties are always meaningful and to keep in mind.
He reaches and grabs Claudia's cheek, playful. She fights back with a laugh. (Theodore) Little sorceress here could make you forget she's Tremere, but it still means something, right ? He lets her go. (Claudia) Ouch.. I'm sure Primogen Jacob means that there are certain loyalties. But then, it's not like I represent my clan anywhere, unlike you, Theo.
The Tremere pulls her tongue at the Brujah. Obviously they've hung out together a little and seem friendly enough. (Theodore) Like "family", really. Anyway if you're not prying, that's good. How's your first official night going ?

| Hmm...I guess what I need is and Egyptionish sounding French name. Should be interesting. As to my first night, it has been, interesting. - Perception + Subtrafuge > 5:
Neb doesn't want to talk about his run in's with Alicia and Coronia.

| Though he’d moved in the direction of the balcony, Chris hadn’t actually stepped onto it yet. Instead, he had decided to stand near the opened doorway, leaning back against the wall. From this position he observes the neonate table. A momentary look of disappointment crosses his features when people stood and left the Elysium to discuss matters elsewhere. The vampire shakes his head a little at this, silently disagreeing with this action. As the small group that had held his attention wandered off, Christopher let his gaze travel through the Elysium. He observes the various people around, sitting and talking with one another, making mental notes of who is talking to whom. All the while his expression is one of perpetual boredom. The observations seems to be merely something to pass the time with. Occasionally his eyes flicker to the still closed doors leading to Gosuin’s room before resuming their watching about.- Perception + Alertness > 6:
He looks bored, but his eyes are looking around with a bit to sharp a look for it to just be a means to pass time. The boredom might not be feigned, but Chris is not wasting his time. As he watches, Christopher spots Emilio speaking with the Sheriff. He continues watching the two with mild curiosity.

| Emilio's discussion with the Sheriff is fairly short ; maybe a couple of sentences each. They break apart, and the Sheriff approaches Doctor. Emilio approaches Chris with a smirk, as if nothing. He seems fairly aware of his surroundings and approaches (Emilio) Hey again, "Chris". How's it going ?
Theodore listens and observes the neonate with a certain curiousness. He's smiling and looks pleased. (Theodore) That sounds like it's good, then, adapt to etiquette and shit, and everything will be good. If you're having issues with the Brujah, come and see me, or let a note in El Bodegon. OK ?
Laure approaches Mikael with a slight smile, waiting for her presence to be fully accepted and acknowledged by the Tremere (older than her).

| After ending his conversation with Lambert, Mikael walks in the same direction as the Sheriff, walking up to Emilio. Making the necessary steps to ensure he remains on "inside the etiquette", Mikael greets everyone with charm before approaching the Setite, touchin him in the shoulder and almost whispering to him.- Emilio, Auspex 1:
I've been hoping to speak with you later.
Not waiting for an answer, Mikael says his goodbyes to the Kindred in the group and returns to his table.
Horsman takes out a small pocket book from his...well, pocket and begins reading. The book title is in german.- Linguistics - German:
Meditations by Marcus Aurelius After noticing Laure's approach, the Tremere turns his head to the Toreador, remaining seated.Yes? Anything I can help you with?

| Emilio gives a glance at Mikael, and nods, understanding the message, before going to Chris as mentionned above.
Laure makes a slight bow and then straightens up, standing still. (Laure) Mr Horsman, can we speak ?

| "I see. It's a pleasure to meet you, M. Igor."Felix smiled lightly, trying his best to be friendly and polite particularly in regards to the Nosferatu's obvious looks, as he imagined the other was probably sensitive in regards to it.
"I am afraid my evening has been a bit confusing. I was only granted hospitality tonight, so I am a bit new to the particulars of court and society." He admitted. "It's just a lot to get used to and a lot of new personalities in a room all at once is a little overwhelming."
"So, do tell me about yourself, M. Igor. You are an occultist, did you say?"

| Laure sits once allowed and gives a slight, maybe shy smile to Griffin. (Laure) Mr. Griffin. Here is fine. I need a favor. I would need a second opinion on a certain matter and I'm afraid the Tremere are the only ones I can ask.
Hearing the word favor makes Griffin take a pencil out of the spiral of his small notepad, as he is ready to take notes on a boon. Laure doesn't seem to have been expecting any less. (Laure) Something has happened to my workshop last Friday and my reach isn't strong enough to obtain useful information. I wondered.. If your clan could run a second investigation for me.
Igor's hands disappear in his cowl a moment and out of one of the sleeves appear sketchpad (A4) full of notes, scribbles but also many sketches. He sketches a little as he speaks. (Igor) It's always like that the first few weeks. The rule is to mess up the less possible, right? Blah they forgive babies easily, don't worry too much.
Jerome seems to be content to listen and observe, appreciating the situation. He lifts his eyes from the paper when asked about him, and nods. (Igor) Yes, yes! Occulist. Mr Lehin? (Jerome) Hm it's a concept hard to explain. Someone who studies things that are occult.. Creatures, myths, magic... Is this right ? (Igor) Yes exactly ! Clan lore, origins, feats.. Did you notice you're not breathing ? And your body is tougher. How much pressure do you think it could handle in apnea under the water ? How deep do you think we could manage ? What other creatures are out there in our world and what can they do ? This has always been fascinating for me. (Jerome) Many Tremere have access to such a knowledge. Remember I told you that if you had any questions regarding what we are exactly.. I prefer a little mystery. Ah, could we say occultism is "our" biology ? (Igor) I guess we could. Oh I'm not near the level of knowledge of a Tremere because I don't have their libraries and their centralized knowledge but I know stuff. As for details about me, I'm a Nosferatu and I was in seminary before the clan embraced me.

| Bows head slightly in acknowledgement.
I have been having no problems with the Brujah M.; outside of yourself the only one I have met is Duncan. I can't say the same is true of all the other clans here, but the Brujah have been nothing but welcoming to me. I won't forget it.
Neb smiles slightly.
Is there anything I can do to help either one of you?

| Theodore doesn't seem too surprised to hear Neb didn't run into any Brujah other than Duncan. It's true, they're the only two Brujah present tonight, as for now. But he looks quite pleased. (Theodore) Can't say the same about other clans, uh. (Claudia) It's not really elegant to speak evil of your elders, even if it's true. They might hear you.
She smiles as she indicates her own ear. (Theodore) Yeah actually there's something: is your clan opening doors to the Sabbat or having deals with them behind our backs?
Claudia looks a bit shocked the Brujah would ask so openly about the Independent, but she glances at the Setite, curious for the answer as well.

| Neb nods to Claudia and smiles at her. Then speaks in a lowered voice.Of course. Not really speaking evil...just wasn't made to feel very welcome. Of course some of that was do to my not understanding all the etiquette yet so I don't hold any grudges. I also don't judge people by their clan, but by their actions. Looks back to Theodore.I believe that I can vehemently provide a resounding no to the prospect of my clan opening doors to the Sabbat or having any deals with Sabbat at all. I would be strongly hesitant to even have any dealings with someone who was claiming to be former Sabbat. They are not to be trusted in the slightest and will turn on you faster than you would believe. I will even go so far to say that if any member of my clan was found to have joined the Sabbat he would be hunted down with an anger you would not believe. They might even go so far as to try to get the Camarilla leadership to declare a blood hunt on the person, and would not hesitate to give the leadership good reasons to do so. Sabbat are a blight on our kind and need to be wiped off the map. Now if some individuals in our clan are so stupid as to try to do that and back door us; I promise that their pain would last centuries. - Auspex 2:
Honest hatred
- Perception + Subtrafuge < 2:
Appears to honestly hate the Sabbat.
This question scares me though....what have you heard? I also wonder if that Giovanni bitch is behind that question. She would do anything to be rid of us including getting in bed with the Sabbat.

| Mikael opes a little, kind smile when Laure asks for a favor Of course dear. Anything for a friend. What can you tell me about your workshop?
It is clear that he is not asking about the workshop per se, but asking for more details of the investigation Laure wants the mages to do.

| Theodore and Claudia listen to Neb's view on the Sabbat (as well as the Setites, it seems). The Brujah seems interested but he won't cut the visible hate of the Sabbat. (Theodore) And here I was thinking independents would work with whoever. Look, I didn't say "turn Sabbat". That's a whole other world. I just think it's not that unlikely for independents to try and make deals with the Sabbat so they'd, say, try and wipe the city and leave you guys alone.
Claudia shakes her head to deny. (Claudia) I don't think the Setites would take the risk, as they're accepted and liked enough by Prince Gosuin. (Theodore) And I don't think she'd risk giving Gosuin a chance to call a blood hunt if she even got close to the Sabbat.
Catherina seemed to hear her last name and approaches slowly. She doesn't sound distrustful at all and open for discussion. (Catherina) Was I mentionned?
Claudia keeps silent, looking fairly distrusting. On the other hand Theodore gives a glance at Neb, waiting for him to answer the Giovanni.

| Theodore can't help a laugh, and he pushes a little the irony and the taunt as he speaks. He makes the regular presentations as general etiquette asks, even if he doesn't do it to the full extend of manners.(Theodore) Catherina Giovanni, this is Neb Mubarak, he's the new Setite. (Catherina) Oh. The Giovanni nods, but her oh was disappointed. She lost all interest.(Catherina) Alright, then. Miss Vonigner, could we talk? (Claudia) Certainly. The Tremere, a bit cold, doesn't make any movement to stand or leave. Catherina seems to be waiting, and eventually adds.(Catherina) In private, if you please? After a glance at Neb, as if she was looking for reassurance, Claudia stands and walks away, followed by the Giovanni. Theodore observes as they go.(Theodore) That's interesting. No? Emilio seems to be paying attention, but he's still busy with his own affairs for the moment.
- perception+subterfuge>4:
Claudia really seems to dislike the Giovanni, but she's not hateful or disgusted. She obviously considers her as an actual threat.

| As Claudia stands up, Neb gives her a supporting look. He lifts his phone for a moment implying that he is just a text message or a call away if needed.
Neb focuses his attention back to Theodore after making note of Emilio's noticing the conversation.
Very interesting. I don't know her personally but my fellows have no love lost for her and her brand of pause business.

| The Primogen shrugs, fairly uncaring. (Theodore) I'd like it if your "fellows" stopped tracking her down. She's done nothing wrong. Yeah her clan had a few issues with Gosuin for certain assets but we can't hold it against her personally, now can we ?
He's obviously playing Neb with what he said earlier about not judging by someone's clan. (Theodore) You guys could certainly pool resources and run the business together. It'd probably be more profitable.
For himself as well, probably. (Theodore) Say, you've met with Claudia before ?

Your right of course. I don't know her personally so I really can't judge at this point. However I am bound by the will of my sire in her case.
Claudia and myself have had some dealings, positive ones at that. We haven't known each other long though.

| Duncan enters the Theatre, with Fred and (hopefully) Miriel close behind. On the way up the stairs, he pulls out his phone and checks it briefly. Nodding, he pockets the phone once more and continues into the déambulatoire.
Seeing Neb at their former table, along with Theodore, Duncan heads toward them. As he draws close, Duncan nods at Theodore when he catches the elder Brujah's attention.
Hello again, sir. Do you mind if we join you?

Seeing Duncan approach, he signs it's okay for him, Fred and Miri to sit again. He teases his clanmate with a smile. (Theodore) Hey. I heard you're giving a good image of the clan, uh?
