| Laure thinks about it a moment, before adding details to what she knows. (Laure) Friday night, Fred and I were approaching my workshop, before he pulled me aside for some reason. All the glass blew, as well as most of my creations.
She pauses an instant, the memories being painful. She looks strong, however, more than mourning she's . (Laure) I managed to go back later, because I had to talk to the police, for my cover. But I couldn't.. find anything of use.
She looks at her hands as she says it. Maybe she's implying an use of Auspex. (Laure) I would like a pair of fresh eyes to help me conduct the investigation. The Sheriff doesn't think it's Sabbat related, so the affair does not interest him.

| At Theodore's signal, Duncan takes a seat at the table. The younger Brujah is careful to leave seats on either side of him, so that Miriel and Fred don't have to sit together. Yet he raises an eyebrow at his primogen's words and glances briefly at Neb, before speaking to Theo.
Really? Which part? The fact that I didn't call him a dirty snake? Or the stubborn streak, that almost led to trouble in Elysium?
Duncan nods a greeting to Neb, although he doesn't respond, since Theo asked him a question.

| Mikael listens attentively to Laure. He raises a brow when she mentions "Fred".And who would that be? Horsman looks straight away and turns silent. He seems to be thinking something.- ST:
Miakel is heavily analyzing Laure to find any signs of dishonesty or deceit. He is also reading her aura.

| Laure blinks at Mikael's question, and then understands.(Laure) My apologies. Fred is the surviving childe of Robert Degrelle. He's over there, with the beanie. She makes a slight indication. Robert Degrelle was the Malkavian who wanted to embrace Claudia, and he was executed in 2000 for covering up for a Sabbat nest (a member of that pack diablerized Laure's childe, which is how they were discovered) (Mikael knows this).(Laure) Had he not warned me, I may have been far more injured than I was. I'll pay him back. - Mikael:
Laure's aura reads hatred, bitterness and resent when she mentions Degrelle and the Sabbat. Her discourse considering Fred reads a certain worry and puzzleness ; She's not sure, but she's grateful. Her aura didn't read lies or deception, but she is careful and thoughtful to choose her words. She has her own doubts and ideas but, as Mikael knows enough, she probably doesn't want to taint a neutral observer should he accept helping her to find out the truth. However it's clear she's not fully trustful of the Tremere Clan.
Theodore can't help a smirk.(Theodore) That's it, I'll appoint you as our PR guy. "Clan of the 9mm", right ? He turns a bit serious an instant, then adds.(Theodore) what was all that with that Russian dude earlier ?

| Mikael gives a brief stare towards the Malkavian, when Laure points to him. Ah, I see. Another lunatic.
Well, milady, I'm afraid I'm terribly busy the coming nights, but I'll do what I can to help. Let's see... How far away is your workshop? We might be able to do a quick peek before the execution starts. What do you say?
The Tremere looks at his watch when he says this.

| If we get a PR guy, don't make him Brujah.
Theodore's joke about the 'Clan of the 9mm' draws a smile from Duncan; but the smile fades to a frown as the elder Brujah mentions the scene with Chris.
Yes, that was a wee bit of excitement. He was curious about the attack on the church... intensely curious. I'd already told an edited version to Igor, and I'm sure I'll be telling the story later; so I merely summarized the fight for our Russian newcomer. I also left out certain details about the reason for the attack, since I didn't think the Prince would like for that to be common knowledge. M. Orlov didn't like not getting the full story, and insisted I tell all. I declined, and suggested he see Gosuin for details. He liked that even less. That's about it, since nothing happened.
Unless you're referring to his face-off with the new kid, Felix? That was about Orlov's phone; something about how he destroyed it for some reason, and dropped it. When Felix went to clean it up, Orlov stormed back and demanded the SIM card. Nearly gave the kid a heart attack, if that's possible now. I'm not sure why Felix felt compelled to help clean up the broken phone; compulsive neatness, or something? Whatever, the Russian didn't like it.
Whichever incident you're referring to, it seems there's a lot of stuff M. Orlov doesn't like. Maybe he's just had a bad week, or something.

| Theodore grins at the mention of PR people not being Brujah. He listens with interest. (Theodore) Ye you did well probably. Information and details are valuable. Probably why Gosuin wants you'll version. You know, to have a fair trial or whatever ?
Obviously Theodore thinks there's no such thing as fair trials. But he looks sincere when he mentions the general reasons why Gosuin wants to get all info : not take a decision without knowing as much as possible. He gives a glance at Miri, after mentioning everyone's hearings. (Theodore) I met him Friday actually at el Bodegon, some time after you'd left. I knew for sure he was non-Camarilla. Claudia was with me but they left together. After, she told me he'd be some kind of a friend of Kersten's. Obviously Theodore thinks he's being punked. I think it's a trap. And who is this Felix exactly?
He then gives a glance at Neb. (Theodore) And you what do you think of all that?

| When Theodore mentions a 'trial', Duncan gives a snort of amusement It's much easier to have the verdict first. Saves so much time.
Seriously, Gosuin already had everyone's account of the attack... mine and Miriel's included. You were there. Except for Rufus, perhaps. I figured this thing tonight was more for the rest of the Kindred in Bordeaux, so they'll know what happened, and know why Vonzel is being put to death. The only mystery to me is why he didn't try to save himself, or make a deal. It's like the guy wants to die.
I didn't know you had met Orlov, though. Interesting. Oh, Felix is Felix Sommier, new childe of Jerome Lehin. He's the pretty one, talking to Jerome and Igor. Very new... Embraced only days ago, and presented this evening. Duncan doesn't comment further on that; but with the significant glance he aims at Theo, he doesn't have to.

| Laure nods and smiles at Mikael when he mentions having a peek. (Laure) Only a few dozen meters south from here. Walking takes me about ten minutes. Of course I don't expect it to take so long that we miss the hearings. However- I am still the Elysium Keeper so I'm afraid I can't leave this place unattended. Maybe Fred will be willing to indicate you and tell you what happened ? Of course it can be postponed until later this week if you prefer.
The Toreador is willing to make efforts so Mikael has better working conditions. She glances every now and then at Griffin, who has taken a few notes of the favor asked. He's not interfering however and doesn't show any bias.
After a small talk, Catherina and Claudia eventually walk towards the exist of the Deambulatoire, probably to leave the Theater.
Hearing Neb's opinion, the Brujah Primogen shrugs. (Theodore) I'd love to say he's there to save his mate. But he'd have taken action in the Hotel and not here. That and usually the Sabbat don't help each other, especially those who were captured. Bah you know the Ventrue and their protocols, whatever. If it's not for all kindred in town it'll be for at least all Primogen. Re-telling the story is just a way to check consistence too.
Obviously himself doesn't really care or doesn't think twice about the happenings he's mentioning. (Theodore) Actually, he just might be worried for his friend Kersten, which is why he's asking around.
Openly joking, it's clear the idea of someone worried about Kersten or being friends with him amuses the Brujah. (Theodore) Anyway I bet he'd try to make a deal. Considering how the Tremere are cable to make compromises and conduct negotiations, however...
He thinks the Tremere are too stiff to consider making deals. Concerning Felix, he adds, genuinely surprised. (Theodore) That's.. Surprising.

I hope you are right, what you are telling me matches what Duncan has said. I just have a bad feeling about this. There is going to be trouble from that one I think, and maybe soon.

| Theodore can't help a laugh at Neb's words. (Theodore) That's being dead. Welcome to our existence ! Nah I don't worry. Worrying takes too much damn effort and my half a neuron doesn't like the stress. If shit's gonna happen, it's gonna happen. The catch is to always be ready.

Obviously Theodore thought the question was stupid, so he answers with as much obvious behavior as he can.

| Theodore seems to think a moment, before making a "ah", showing he understood what Neb was talking about. After all they were talking about Chris' behavior being a possible hazard. (Theodore) Oh, about Vonzel ! Well considering how the stars are aligned.. I'd say midnight or 1:00. You know, so the actors and staff leave and we can take the Theater's scene and seats. Protocol. I came in early cuz, you know, Mondays.
He obviously means that Mondays are pretty dead in the city (many shops and restaurants are closed on Monday).

| Neb glances down at this watch.
Of course, the insipid kine production.
Pauses for just a second.
Ahh well, at least that will make the evening interesting. So far, while there have been a few high spots, Nods to Duncan and Theodore making it clear he is including them in the high spots comment this Elysium has been filled with rather petty people making rather petty conversation. There are a couple here should never have had the honor of becoming a ghoul, much less the embrace. But that is everywhere I suppose. You just can't seem to get away from people whose pride is so caught up in their own petty worldview that they take offense just because they can. They live for drama.

| "Insipid kine production" makes Theodore raise an eyebrow. That's one strange way of speaking about mortals to him, especially from a newly presented kindred (which he thinks is a Neonate, obviously). He doesn't comment on it. He does grin at the mention of ghouls and Embrace. (Theodore) So serious and high up there... You sure you're not part of Villon's crew?

| Wow... I'm a "high spot." Never been called that before. Duncan acts impressed for a moment, until he grins at Theodore. However, the 'insipid kine' comment, and the words that follow, put a damper on his good humor.
I wouldn't be too condescending toward humans. That's the first step to underestimating them, which is dangerous.
Anyway, Felix is admittedly green. Yet if he's smart enough, he'll learn and adapt. If not... well, the problem will solve itself.
As for our Russian friend... he doesn't seem to be motivated by concern for his clan mate. Maybe he's just concerned that Vonzel will give them a bad name. Ha! As if it could get much worse. I don't know. Too little information-- the jury's out on Orlov until I know more. Neb says he'll keep an eye on him. Just don't do it with a camera!
Duncan seems amused by his own joke.

| His eyes widened, obviously rather impressed in regards to Igor's work."So your studies have caused you to understand a great deal of information regarding the undead condition? That's actually quite interesting. I do not suppose that you have any books with such information?" He asked.
Felix smiled lightly, genuinely seeming interested. However, he paused and blinked. "Oh, forgive me, that's perhaps a bit too bold of a question. I really do well with learning by reading."
"I work in fixing timepieces, perhaps one day we could work out an exchange?" He asked.
