If that's ever completed, it will by the time elder scrolls 7 rolls around.

| I'd like to polish my... build. It's imaginary so far and will remain so for a while, but: Concept will be fighter mage. Meaning some Heavy armor, Ebony and Arcane Smithing, some Enchanting. A little Restoration if possible. V1: I go for Nocturnal, use the cap and sword, and Illusion in the other hand. V2: Conjuration for dual casting daedra and swords. Heavy inspiration comes from arcane warrior and ether hunter of Fudgemuppet on yt. Comments? | |

| Illusion is nice and all, but it does not allow you to create zombie bunnies. Or drop Dremora Lords on top of things you want to die (much more reliable than frenzy spells). Bound swords are only any good at low levels though (unless you have a mod that fixes that). Even if you take Mystic Binding perk they still only have 14 damage. And without the perk it's only 8, which if memory serves me is the equivalent of a Steel Sword. | |

| According to wiki, Steel swords indeed have 8 base damage, and Daedric swords have 14 base damage. Where's the problem? | |

| Not a bad concept, but you cannot improve a bound sword with Smithing. A Glass one, actually you could.

Not necessarily a problem, but with 100 Smithing and the proper perk you can improve a weapon to deal an extra 20 damage. A thus improved Steel Sword will do 28 damage or twice as much as a Mystic Blade or unimproved Daedric Sword. That's without Fortify Smithing enchantments. Mystic Blade is still good if you avoid Smithing altogether, but you specifically said you wanted to smith Ebony. The moment you take the Ebony Smithing perk you will be able to create an Ebony Sword that has 31 damage. Note that this is all base damage, before multipliers from weapon skill, perks, and fortify weapon enchantments.

| Then I'll bear in mind to switch to real weapons later or mod the shit outta the game. But I want the feel of casting two sword out of thin air. Now where are those mods... | |

| The overhaul mod I was working on for my own personal use did it. I still have it somewhere but I'm not sure what state it's in and it was made for Oldrim, so I think it won't work if you're using SE. | |
