| The ones in Germany give me great pleasure. They suffer for trying to exterminate us... G*d made them bling and mixed their tongues as with those who tried to build Tower of Babel...
Seriously? I think that a lot of the "progressive" stuff makes our civilization less and less able to defend itself, first and foremost by killing our will to fight and faith that our way of life is worth defending. We are too afraid to offend minorities to do so. Majorities formed out of those minorities (e.g Birmingham) too. And we live in an age of fierce competition...

| It's close, but isn't Bs. F more valuable? I mean, the number is bigger, and from where I come from, the bigger the better. | |

| If one dollar can buy 10 currency "A" but 20 currency "B", currency "A" is more valuable than "B" | |

| I like how it's all chalked up to socialism. Cuz there's no country with a successful socialistic system right? | |

China has more capitalism than the West put together... With police state and Party rule, but with nothing socialistic in the economy. Socialism could work. As Marx put it, socialism could be introduced in a developed industrialized state. So there are ready resources to share and waste. Socialism does share, but is incapable or at best very inefficient at creating. Sweden or Germany work on what their past generations build, with growth within statistical error. The one exception are countries like Norway or Saudi Arabia, in which the system does not have to be efficient due to reliance (at least temporarily) on natural resources, not work, to provide for growth. Countries without natural gas, iron, diamonds etc have to work for progress, not to dig it up.

The way we're going now? No. The way we were a few decades back before we went too far with corruption and political bubbles? Yes please. Sweden aside, there are more examples to go by, like say other Scandinavian countries or any place with a social safety net to keep people off the streets. Or places where they have universal health care and basic wellfare to keep people who can't work off the streets. Socialism can be abused and misused same as any system of course, but it's not like it's not possible to pull it off; and when it is people benefit. I think finding the middle ground between socialism and capitalism is the most viable: the government covers basic necessities like food, education and health care and everything that's consumer goods- cars, video games, junk food etc -is covered by corporations and similar sources. Somethings work the best in a competitive environment; but bare essentials should ideally be available for everyone who is a citizen. You know, so nobody starves or has to live on the streets. Are we ever gonna see somebody parasiting off the system? Yes, more than likely. In my view though, it's well worth a few doing it so the majority can rest easy knowing that they're not gonna have to sleep outdoors or work self-destructive jobs for the rest of their lives cuz they're waist-deep in debt if they can't keep up. The reason I don't think the majority of people would mooch off the system in this scenario is because most people want more than bare essentials. People will want cars, computers, nice clothes and dinners and whatnot; and for that you gotta earn it. So far, I see little evidence that this idea doesn't work; even with Sweden the reason we're going the wrong way is because we're trying to take everyone in rather than focus on those already here. Our system worked fine before we started overloading it with 1/4th of every Hassan the Middle East has to offer. And what fucking system wouldn't overload with that immigration policy? You tell me. Fuck me I'm too lazy for these rants.. Nothing's like arguing politics on the internet to kill your motivation is there?

| I think culture is the key... There are societies where people want more than essentials and will work for them. There are cultures where essentials are enough and fuck the rest... Not all of them reside in Middle East, Africa and big chunk of South America qualify too, as well as most of Southern Europe and India. Mixed system is optimal, I agree with that, ut there are societies where if you gave finger, you land without a hand... All societies pwith communist past are like that, albeit the severity of affliction depends on lenght and severity of Party rule. So yeah, good luck giving welfare here in Poland: the trully needy get trampled over by opportunists trying to get to the office... There is indeed one thing more demotivational than discussing politics on the internet! Browsing it with Internet Explorer: | |

| I agree cultures play an important part and that what works in one place doesn't necessairly mean it won't work elsewhere. Now that's overwith we can move on from this shit | |

| Sandnigger sadomasochism, Jewish sadomasochism or just straight up sadomasochism with none of the theological bagage in for the ride? I'll go with the last one | |

Have you crossed the USA from your list? If so, why?
