Carrion's haven

She realized she was panting as she rose to her feet, taking a deep (if unneeded) breath she steadied herself and got up. Sitting back on the beanbag and booting up the computer, the wait was relatively short and she began looking over the emails. Mostly spam but the one from Pierre peaked her interest. She replied to him quickly asking for him to dumb down the terminology hoping to get a better understanding.

Whilst she waited for a reply she looked up the address, she didn't like the idea of going alone, a spike of fear ran through her as she thought of what could happen, like her mortal self she had vanished, she didn't want that now, she knew she would not really be missed, the Nosferatu were a practical lot, they may wonder for a while but eventually her memory would fade into the background of history to be forgotten.

She turned slightly to look at Vigo, maybe when he woke he would go with her, she decided best she could do was cool her heels until a reply from Pierre came or Vigo awoke. She didn't like this situation, it smelt like trouble and she didn't want to bring another clan into this, the others knowledge of it was bad enough.

Pierre can't explain in further details the language he uses to describe the actual systems that managed for him to locate a newer information. The signal is two nights more recent than the one he had picked at the Fabrick.

Vigo, late bird, finally awakes as he stretches out, mutters, grins, and sits on the mattress. He scratches his scalp with a snort and then gives a smile to Carrion.
(Vigo) Hey. Still early bird uh ?

Carrion curses her inability to understand but leaves it at that since she heard Vigo begin to stir. Her head snapped around to look at him, obviously unused to having others sleep in her Haven. She watches him silently and returns his smile when he gives it.

..I guess so..

She watches him carefully for a moment before hesitantly speaking again.

...You moved...

There was definitely a note of curiosity in her voice as she spoke. Reclining back in her chair she takes him in properly waiting to hear what he had to say.

The Nosferatu takes his time to put on his shoes.
(Vigo) Of course I moved. I'm no Gargoyle! Well I'm back to the cellars now.

He stands and stretches and smiles. He obviously either doesn't understand the question asked, or denies and acts out of bad faith.
(Vigo) I'll go and have a look with Horsman about those skulls. I'll keep you informed of what "Carrion" spoke and did with the Tremere, uh.

Carrion gives her sire a slightly perplexed look and tries to explain better.

I didn't think we moved in torpor...

But she trails off unable to explain any further, before he goes she stops him.

Before you go, Pierre thinks he has had another blip on Momo's mobile.

She brings up the map and points out the location to Vigo.

It seems a little odd, I was wondering if you or someone could come with me.

She seems a bit shy asking him for help.

The Nosferatu openly ignores the comment about moving in torpor, but he seems interested about Momo's new location.
(Vigo) Sorry, I'm no good outside the cellars. And Pierre ain't the kind to leave his office anyway, not that he can anyway! He's the only one able to link those from under and those at the surface. And to keep finding you info on that stuff.

He nods and shrugs vaguely.
(Vigo) It's true you shouldn't be moving alone though. I'll ask, but you'd have better luck with other kids.

Carrion didn't seem too bothered that he had openly ignored her question, she accepted that her Sire did not want to answer her. She watched him carefully and again wasn't surprised by his next response, she had openly expected the response he gave her.

Yeah, I know, thank you for asking for me.

She seemed genuinely grateful that he agreed to ask for her, he knew she had a soft spot for him and even though in some ways she was cynical Vigo knew he could take advantage if he really wanted even without the blood bond he had renewed last night.

Carrion's phone rang busy to Fred because Pierre has called her.
(Pierre) Hey! I heard you needed some back-up 'bout Momo right ? Doctor said he'll come with you. He's on his way to the Theatre, so you'll probably meet there alright ?

Carrion answered very quickly;the phone did not get a chance to ring twice.

Hey Pierre, yeah sounds good. I'll get there as quick as I can. Thanks for your help, keep safe. 

Hanging up the phone, she takes a few minutes to grab a few essentials, and fling them into her battered satchel.

[i]The lack of other sounds apart from the key can give a clue to Nyx, but she quickly finds out it's Vigo. He enters as if nothing, taking off the scarf he uses to hide his hideous face to the general public. He closes behind him and gives a grin full of rotten teeth to Nyx. He speaks with a little cynism as to break the ice but also he seems in a better mood than before.[i]
(Vigo) You're early, good ! You couldn't stand being left without by sexy beautiful presence, could you?

Nyx watched him for a long moment, uncertain of how to respond her hands were still in her pockets masking her clenched fists from view. With all the uncertainty she had forgotten to drop her obsfucate but she did it without even noticing when he spoke revealing her true form.

I should slap you.

There was a tone of weariness in her voice as well as uncertainty. Her hands removed themselves from her pockets empty handed and crossed loosely at her abdomen.

Of all of us, you choose to do this shit to me...

She didn't finish the sentence, almost unable to because she was too scared to say it outright, almost hoping Griffin was wrong. She was too cynical to trust even Vigo enough to give him the benefit of the doubt any more.

Vigo gives a more serious, curious look at Nyx. He probably doesn't get what she's telling him.
(Vigo) I thought we already discussed the me-killing-you-and-turning-you-into-an-ugly-monster problem a few years ago. How's the "kids digging into our domain" shit going?

Obviously he dismisses the subject, and he doesn't look too happy about having come all the way to her haven for something as trivial as being undead conscious issue..

Nyx twitched as he spoke, her temper warring with her patience.

"Ahhah, I'm more pissed about the whole whooo let's keep feeding your childe blood every so often like a ghoul thing."

Patting her pockets she found her tin and began to rolls a cigarette, it seemed to be quite a familiar sight to Vigo for her to produce it in times of true emotional stress.

Vigo chuckles and smiles widely. He approaches a little.
(Vigo) So you finally found out, not bad. Tough luck my childe, they all do it, and I needed some security. It's not like I give you stupid orders, humiliate you and use you for my own benefit openly.

He shrugs, he obviously did nothing wrong, at least that's how he thinks about it.

Nyx slid the tin out of sight once more, she doesn't back away from him seeming to not care about the distance for now. Nyx didn't smile or react for a minute.

You had my loyalty from the beginning...and you knew that.

Her eyes watched him closely, clasping the rolled cigarette and almost crushing it.

No, they don't.

She shook her head slightly.

True, probably why I haven't hit you for this yet but that still doesn't excuse you.

The Nosferatu hisses a little, and turns.
(Vigo) Fine, find me when you need me, you won't see me and I won't give you any more. Pffe, here I was thinking you'd accept it as a proof that I don't want to lose you.

He moves on to leave.

Why couldn't you just tell me from the beginning? Hell, I probably would have accepted it and wouldn't have questioned it.

Vigo could feel her hand grip at his shoulder tugging at him, he knew her well enough to know she worked well with rational or honest answers.
