The last two words are final. He lets go the arm and goes to leave with a little more haste.

She stopped herself there unable to finish the sentence.
Vigo could see a medley of emotions from her. Confusion, hurt, even love and a deep need to have some form of comfort from him. He knew her past well enough, knew trust was thin on the ground for her and even if she never said it that she thought of him like a father.

Nyx couldn't really hide the pleading tone that came through in her voice. She didn't try and stop him leaving but it it was obvious she didn't want him to yet.

Nyx watched as he left, she didn't say anything or try and keep him any longer, recognising the futility of the action from experience. Once the door had closed she sighed and muttered to herself.
...That isn't a reason...
Time passed as she stood frozen in place, her bent cigarette was eventually put to use and lit carefully. With an exhale of smoke she went back to the PC and opened the web browser she had minimized not long ago. She opened the favorites folder labelled Interesting data to watch and waited for it to load.

The folder have a few different links to several streaming websites, however, as she clicks, there is only written "not streaming at the moment". There is no image shown, no view counts, and no image is shown. Nyw is quick to recognize the websites shown are part of the DarkNet.

Nyx sighed out another puff of smoke as her frustration began to build, opening a new tab she begins a download for a streaming recorder program in the hopes if one becomes active whilst she's away she will still be able to see it.
I should just go postal now and save myself the effort.
She spoke to no one in particular but did turn her eye to the vampire bat plushie she had on the desk, eyeing it wearily.

She waited with limited patience for the program to finish downloading. When it had completed she installed and tested it out on a random streaming page to see if it worked.
Whilst she was waiting she checked over her email to kill some time.

Content that it worked she set her screen saver off so it would record anything that streams in her absence. Sighing to herself she stubbed out the almost finished cigarette in the ashtray close by, her eye drifted back to the plushie once more.
What do I do Batbert? This is one clusterfuck I don't think I can wriggle my way out of...
She pulled the stuffed toy from its resting place and loosely hugged it, finding some small measure of comfort from the inanimate object.
I don't know why I'm even asking, you were rubbish with advice last time around. I should get back to the others, but people are exhausting... I'm tired of remembering the same conversations and it's not like they give a fuck about the brood...
Reluctantly she got up and went to inspect the lock on her front door, the lock still worked so it wasn't forced but she was wondering if it had been picked, she took Batbert with her needing the company for a while longer.

As far as Nyx can notice, there are no marks on the lock to indicate if it has been picked. Nyx knows her ways around lock picking, so she's able to see where little metalic marks by the tools would have been left. Either it was by someone very, very crafty, able to leave no marks at all, which is very unlikely, or it wasn't picked at all.

Nyx inspected the lock carefully for a few minutes, there was nothing there. She looked at Batbert and grumbled:

As she spoke she made a mental checklist of options she had and quickly decided fishing later may be the best option for the moment. Stepping back inside she dug out her satchel and placed the plushie inside alongside her books, she extracted the one at the small of her back and put that inside with the others.
The pocket knife stayed within her jacket pocket nestled safely next to her lockpick set.
...I feel defiled now someone's been in here. No way I can leave you alone to have house parties you invite weirdos.
With that said she clasped the bag closed and made her way back to the scooter and off to see Fred's haven.

The ghoul attack on Gosuin has been recorded, seemingly from just above the door that leads to Gosuin's room. Nyx can witness how the ghoul speaks saying he wants to talk to Gosuin alone, concerning Alicia's information about the Sabbat. The Prince allows it, and the ghoul closes the door, then for some reason, draws a long butcher knife from his back to attack the Prince who terrifies him with Presence, catches a rifle from under the desk. The ghoul is quick to exit the room, and the Prince shoots twice.

Nyx watched the video carefully but had very little time to process what she saw before torpor claimed her. She didn't have much time to move and ended up sleeping propped up on her desk with her arm coiled under her head as a pillow.
When she awoke the next night she replayed the video with a frown, she didn't know what to make of the stream. As she weighed up her options she browsed online for a new lock for her Haven's front door.
When she found one she was happy with she pulled her phone out and called Pierre. As the phone rang through she rummaged through her drawers searching for the small baggies of goodies for the local drug addicts she wanted some information from.

Someone broke into my haven last night..they must have had a key there was no scratches from picks. They left bookmarks on my PC to a stream when I got in last night it was a recording of the attack on Gousin.
