Haha - Having been on 4chan, this made me laugh.  Let me stress that most people on that forum are okay.  There are 2 or 3 who insist on arguing with anyone who disagrees with their posted opinion, in a very passive-aggressive way, so that they can consider themselves the reasonable one.

I am admittedly biased.  One guy on that forum was being a pest to Claudia, and saying that he wouldn't play in any game like hers.  (She was trying to get more players for her game.)  So I gave my opinion that he didn't know enough about the game to judge it, and he started arguing, so after a few posts I said "Have fun, you won the argument, I'm gone."  He followed me to this forum, if you can believe that, and started arguing here.  Childe of Malkav had to tell him to stop stirring up trouble and go away.

Don't ask me who it was-- to be blunt, I've forgotten his name.  I'd remember if I saw it, but that mentality is one reason I don't check out Planet-Vampire much lately.

Also, they are obsessed with any new details about the WODMMO, which to me is a pointless discussion.  I'll believe that game is a reality after it's been released... and maybe not even then.  But that's another topic, which got Claudia banned from the White-Wolf forum for calling the WODMMO 'vaporware'... and got me banned for telling them that banning her was a blatant misuse of moderator authority.   Whee!!

Thought so. But it would have been easier to recognize (and read) if you had used a dot or blank as separator every 4 digits as usual when you write it down for humans to read. And all the needless brackets weren't helping either...  

@Claudia: He doesn't visit PV often. But Wesp and burger have admin rights there. Probably mostly to make their topics sticky. I've never asked Signo, but probably I could get mod or admin rights as well.

It looked binary to me as well, but there was that 7 at the start and mixing decimal and bianry is criminal and I didn't expect bloody to stoop so low.

Saw it coming tbh. Especially since nothing WoD related was planned at Fanfest. They probably couldn't work out a good working model that remained engaging while maintaining the quality experience of a sandbox game.

Can't say I am surprised. Too bad though.

It's too bad. I was looking rather forward to it. Maybe someday someone will make a new bloodlines or something if an MMO isn't feasible.

On the bright side, Star Citizens and everquest Next shall fill in the gap of sandbox mmo's.

Yeah, I guess it's safe to say it now. Just maybe not on their forums.

Oh well, this is too bad but at least I still have my LWOD.

I might have given MMO's another go with this one. A pity.

So the recent vampire games are about three: Nosgoth, the 2 recent Castlevanias and that stealth vampire game.

I'm working to become a vamp in Elder Scrolls online, does that count? XD

Last time I tried playing the beta of ESO it crashed 7 times in half an hour and I spent more time looking at the loading screen than playing the game.
